Al Ain goalkeeper to undergo surgery

The Al Ain youth national team goalkeeper, who had suffered fractures to his jaw and cheek bones and clavicle in a car crash on Thursday, will have to undergo a surgery.

Yousif Abdelrahman, 21, was due to undergo a surgery on Friday.

The accident occurred when Yousif Abdelrahman was travelling from his home town Kalba to attend the club’s final training before Friday’s Pro League match with Al Nasr.

He was rushed to a hospital in Al Dhaid before being airlifted to Rashid Hospital in Dubai.
