Is this Mallika pic wrecking Antonio Banderas' marriage?

Seeing is believing it and the video circulating like wildfire on the internet gossip sites certainly portrays an exuberant Mallika Sherawat having a ball of time dancing with Hollywood’s Antonio Banderas.

Stories now hint at a possible Parisian holiday for the duo in August, while wife Melanie Griffith continues to froth at the mouth say insiders.

Rumours of a budding romance between Sherawat and Banderas started to circulate in May, when the duo were caught on camera dancing quite enthusiastically at an afterhours party during the Cannes International Film Festival.

Sherawat, who is dressed in a sheer black dress in the video, went further and even tweeted a picture of the two on her Twitter account quite proudly.

However, the image quickly backfired, say sources, adding that what wasn’t captured on video but was viewed by witnesses that night was an old, haggard looking woman who pushed Sherawat out of the way that fateful night and distanced Banderas from her.

In fact, Sherawat’s stylist friend Ivan Bitton was also quoted in the media as saying: “Antonio was very attracted to Mallika and you could see that from a video.

“He grabbed her from behind, and he was really into the dance. I could hear him telling her how beautiful she was.

“As they were dancing together, a haggard looking woman in her 40s, violently pushed Mallika out of the way. I just grabbed her hand and we went downstairs, we didn’t want to deal with any drama.”
 
That mystery lady in question is now being touted as none other than Banderas’ wife and Hollywood actress, Melanie Griffith.

Unravelling like a Bollywood potboiler, stories soon started to filter out of many film fans and members of the fraternity spotting the duo at coffee shops, and clubs partying in Cannes.

It didn’t long then for a follow up alleged invite for Sherawat from the hunky actor to meet him in Paris.

Sherawat, who is currently shooting for ‘Kismat Luv Paisa Dilli’ with Viveik Oberoi, is expected to take off for the city of romance on August 7 to meet the Hollywood actor.

International media is now reporting that while there were already visible cracks in the 15-year Banderas-Griffith union, the ‘dirty picture’ has widened the rift further and could possibly lead the Hollywood power couple to the divorce courts.

While Sherawat ‏has largely refrained from commenting on her current homewrecker status, the actress has tweeted the stories currently circulating on her Twitter account, adding a single word: “Really!!”
