No more dancing for Kareena, Katrina, Deepika: We have family

It's that time of the year when parties are thrown almost every weekend to celebrate the end of a year and welcoming another.

What's the fun of a New Year’s Eve party if it doesn’t have a Bollywood actress performing? Especially if it is “Halkat Jawani” Kareena Kapoor or “Chikni Chameli” Katrina Kaif!

But actress Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have declined a huge sum of money to perform at a wedding party and on New Year’s Eve respectively.

Instead of dancing to entertain fans Katrina has opted to spend time with family on December 31.

Kareena on the other hand choose to uphold family reputation and restrict herself from dancing at weddings.

She does not want to do anything that could even remotely harm the reputation of her husband Saif Ali Khan's family.

Kareena Kapoor's recent item numbers “Halkat Jawani” from 'Heroine' and “Fevicol se” from 'Dabangg 2' have become quite popular.

With wedding season on, the planners are vying for the actress to perform these chartbusting numbers at high profile weddings.

The remuneration for these performances is also eye popping. But the new royal bride of Pataudi decided not to perform at private parties.

After all, she has to think of the family that she has recently married to. The Pataudis garner tremendous respect and a royal daughter-in-law cannot be seen performing for guests at private parties.

The actress recently told an Indian daily: “My family is looked at with immense respect and I will never do anything to embarrass them. I can’t even think of dancing at weddings, especially from now on.
Being a youth icon, I do not want to set a wrong example. This is a decision made by me and I will stick to it.”

As for Katrina Kaif the chapter is not completely closed. It's just that she has her priorities set at the right place for Christmas and New Year.

The actress puts her family before all else — even a staggering sum of money to perform at a New Year’s Eve could not manage to lure her.

She turned it down to be with her family for the holiday season — a tradition she has maintained for years.

It is reported that Katrina never takes up work during the last few days of December. She makes it a point to spend time with her family in London and plans to do the same this year.

From what we hear, this is not the first time that Kat has turned down the big bucks. She has in the past, ditched a 10-minutes performance for which she was offered 3 crores Indian rupee.

Even Deepika Padukone had prioritized her family prestige before money.

Deepika, known for her beautiful body, was offered big bucks to go nude for American men's magazine Playboy.

But the actress rejected the offer as she doesn’t want to put her family into embarrassment by signing and posing for Playboy.

The diva showed her charisma featuring in different Mag covers but even the huge amount and Playboy's reputation could not sway Deepika.

She decided not to go against her principles and pose topless. She chooses family over money.

There are some things money can’t buy and in case of Katrina, Kareena and Deepika, it is family love over money.
