A Canadian electronic gadget manufacturing company is planning to launch its 'Frenzy' brands of smartphones, tablets, bluetooth speakers, with wireless display systems. Western Leaf Electronics, from Calgary, Alberta in Canada is in the Middle East market with 10 electronic products including a new range of smart phones and smart phones, called Frenzy, which will be available in the local stores.

“The market for electronic gadgets in the region is flooded with goods and irrelevant gadgets that have no real value for customers. In the restaurant chain model of electronic manufacturing and marketing, companies are spending huge amounts just to market their substandard products and convince the consumers that their products have a good value,” said, Mark Athaya, General Partner, Western Leaf Electronics, adding that a leading brand of smart phone sold for $600 to $ 800 per piece will be spending $200 just to market the product.

In fact customers are paying electronic gadget makers for their marketing cost and they should realize that non branded products not designed by a professional designing company is not reliable. Some products may be 80 per cent cheaper, but customers get what they pay for it. “Instead of spending $200 per smart phone advertisement and marketing gimmicks, we intend to give the real value for money to the end users. Our Frenzy range of smart phones will be available in the price range of $350 to $400 per gadget and the Frenzy tablets will be available for $190 to $229 range. We have big plans for the Middle East market with some of the unique patented products, but we will announce them later,” he said.

These devices are claimed to be thinner, lighter and full of power. With 7.2 mm thickness, 305v Gms weight. The tablets are working on Wifi and the smart phones are working on Anroid.

“We are not launching just another brand of smart phones and tablets in the market. Customers are more educated and they know the value of dollar versus value for a product. From the next Gitex Shopper onwards our product ranges will be available in the local stores,” he said. The Frenzy phone 5Z with dual sim card. 5 Full High Definition IPS screen, wireless display, 2 GB Ram, 2 MB Front camera and 13 MB rear camera with GPS Sensor, 32 gb internal storage, the highest memory in its class (2 Gigabyte) Bluetooth, FM radio etc is designed by Western Leaf Electronics, Canada.
