A UK-based bespoke holiday lighting specialist is set to make its UAE debut next week.

The Festive Decorators and Lighting Specialists is a joint venture with the UAE’s Al Shirawi Group and will represent The Christmas Decorators – a UK-based firm that contributes to the famous Christmas decorations in London’s Oxford Street and New York City’s Rockefeller Centre, and decorates the homes of top Hollywood stars, as well as leading hotels and shopping malls around the world.

The firm will launch specialist, premium decorations and lighting solutions that have been purposely-designed for an array of celebrations including Eid, Diwali, Christmas, weddings and festivals, the company said in a media statement. The firm offer regional clients a turnkey service ranging from initial concept and design to manufacturing, installation, maintenance and storage. The company is being launched by British expatriate Rob Fairservice, who was born in Dubai in 1982. Fairservice studied at Dubai College, the Vancouver Film School and The Arts Institute of Vancouver, Canada.

“In addition to leveraging two decades’ of international operating experience and design capabilities built-up by The Christmas Decorators, our regional product line will be assembled and installed using the first-class facilities of the Al Shirawi Group, whose fit-out division specialises in major projects across GCC offices and hotel developments,” said Fairservice.

“This burgeoning region’s cosmopolitan population and tourism base affords a richly diverse calendar of cultural events. We are tremendously enthusiastic that our bespoke offering can shine even more light on the year-round religious holidays and destination-driven festivals hosted across the GCC.”

A five-day exhibition showcasing the latest product lines will be inaugurated by Edward Hobart, British Consul General, at The Fridge in Dubai’s Al Serkal Avenue on Sunday, May 24.
