Dubai Parks and Resorts, the upcoming largest multi-themed leisure and entertainment destination in the Middle East, is currently looking to hire candidates for its various departments.

The company is looking for staff, both expats and UAE nationals, as it gears to open its doors to leisure-seekers in October 2016.

A number of vacancies have been listed in its business units, including corporate, Legoland, Bollywood Parks, Riverland and Motiongate.

The entertainment company is looking for personnel such as technical compliance manager, public relations & social media (UAE Nationals only), financial controller, investor relations manager, administrator, health & safety senior manager, finance manager, senior design manager, and senior risk manager, among several other jobs that have been listed.

The company does not mention the pay package but it does promise to ‘offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes housing allowance, annual flight allowance, comprehensive medical coverage, life and accident insurance and other generous allowances.’

“We also care about your career development supported by learning opportunities for those seeking a long-term future in the company,” it adds.

Besides many current vacancies, there are other future positions for which candidates can apply well ahead in time. The closing date for these vacancies is end of 2016.

Looking to boost its Emiratisation plans, the company is also looking to hire UAE nationals by targeting more than 1,000 nationals.

It wants to dedicate more than one-third of its jobs to Emiratis, and for this, the company has a programme, which includes three divisions, Forsati, Sahim, and Helmi.

The first one – Forsati – is a development programme for UAE nationals of high school education or below and provide a total of six months training.

Sahim, on the other hand, will offer direct recruitment to UAE nationals at all levels with high school education and above, with minimum 3 years’ experience across all departments within the company.
Lastly, Helmi, will offer graduates an exciting scholarship programme.

Each programme division will empower participants to become well-trained professionals who will play a central role in driving the operations of the company’s three theme parks in Dubai that are set to open in October 2016, reads a company statement.

“Through the launch of this Emiratisation programme, we aim to build a significant talent pool of Emirati professionals in theme park operations,” said Raed Al Nuaimi, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Parks and Resorts.
