Fly to India for just Dh193? Airfares from UAE nosedive

Airfares from the UAE have been dropping after the New Year’s busy period, with most airlines offering discounted rates.

The latest to join the bandwagon is the Indian low-cost carrier SpiceJet, which us running adverts in local dailies to promote its offer for one-way tickets to India for just Dh193.

This, however, is the base price of a one-way ticket excluding taxes.

To avail of the deal, one needs to book it by tomorrow (January 27) for travel from February 1 until April 12.

This deal is valid only on select international flights of India’s fourth largest airline, but SpiceJet has not specified the routes on which this fare will be applicable on.

Moreover, there will be limited availability with blackout periods too; so there could be just a few seats available at this rock bottom fare.

Sharjah-based Air Arabia is also offering a 48-hour offer by slashing 20 per cent on return flights from the city.

The return fare starts at Dh449 all inclusive, to selected destinations like Amman, Istanbul, Karachi, Khartoum, Alexandria, Moscow, Bahrain and Beirut among a few others.

To get this reduced fare you need to book by today (January 26, 2016) to fly until March 31, 2016.

The Etihad global sale is also on, offering discounts in economy and business class for travel throughout 2016.

The carrier is offering low fares from the UAE. You need to book online before May 20, 2016, for travel valid from December 13, 2015, until November 7, 2016.

Emirates also has its sale period running right now. The airline is offering reduced airfares on an extensive list of holiday destinations. Under the deal, you need to buy tickets by tomorrow (January 27).
