Jumeirah to enter Abu Dhabi in September

Dubai-based hotel management group Jumeirah will enter Abu Dhabi later this year with the opening of five-star hotel at Etihad Towers.

It will be the first hotel under management of Jumeirah Group in the UAE capital. The hotel will launch booking prior to its soft opening slated for September, a hotel reservation booking official told Emirates 24l7.

‘Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, is a five star hotel with 382 elegant rooms and suites, 199 luxurious serviced apartments, and an amazing array of beauty, fashion and relaxation amenities including the Talise Spa.

Evelin Costa, Sales Marketing and PR Manager at Talise SPA, told this website that the group is hiring staff for the spa.

Etihad Towers, which is a five-tower development in Abu Dhabi, is scheduled to be handed over later this year, said a press statement on Friday.

The different components of Etihad Towers will open doors in phases beginning this year. Apartments can be leased now in three towers. The 885 apartments and penthouses, ranging from one to five bedrooms, are now available for lease.

The master-development, with its own private beach, will also feature one of Abu Dhabi’s largest and most contemporary convention centers and a grand ballroom that can cater for groups of over 2,200. Four levels of underground car parking with valet services will serve over 3,000 cars, adding to the convenience of residents and visitors.

The five towers, ranging from 54 to 75 floors, rise over 300 meters high offering panoramic views of the city and Arabian Sea.

Located in Al Ras Al Akhdar district of near Corniche, the towers were developed by Sheikh Suroor Projects Department (SSPD) sprawling over half a million square meters. The towers were designed by Australian architects DBI Design.
