Global Hawk Imaging & Diagnostics (GHID), a healthcare arm of UAE-based Mulk Holdings, has launched its second state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Jumeirah, Dubai, at a cost of Dh25 million.

GHID Jumeirah will enable tele-radiology services to help patients benefit from a huge bank of knowledge and expertise, provided by top of the line radiology specialists and sub-specialists from leading medical institutions around the globe.

Sheikh Dr. Majid Bin Saeed Rashid Al Nuaimi, Director-General of Ajman Ruler’s Office and patron of Mulk Group, inaugurated the Centre in the presence of TP Seetharam, Indian Ambassador to the UAE; Dr. Shafi Ul Mulk, Director of GHID and Mulk Healthcare Division; Shaji Ul Mulk, Chairman of Mulk Holdings; Dr. Yasmeen Ul Mulk, Female Imaging & Fetal Medicine Expert; and other dignitaries.

Commenting on the expansion of Mulk Healthcare division, Shaji Ul Mulk said: “The overall success of GHID has reinforced our vision of emerging as one of the major healthcare providers in the region. We are implementing an ambitious healthcare investment plan at an estimated Dh250 million in the next three to five years. This will see setting up a full-fledged, 75-bed capacity multi-specialty Mulk Hospital in the UAE; and rolling out 10 additional GHID Centres across the GCC and North African region. The chain of GHID will have a total of 12 premium facilities.”

Dr. Yasmeen Ul Mulk said: “We offer advanced levels of diagnosis, in addition to featuring innovative tele-radiology solutions, linked up with an expert panel of Sub Specialist Radiologists from some of the top brand institutions in Europe and USA in order to provide cross consultations and referrals.”

“With our plan to develop the 75-bed multi-specialty Mulk Hospital and additional GHID Centres and pharmacies, we will be capable to fill the gap of medical service delivery and play a greater role in the UAE's healthcare sector, as the country is emerging as a regional medical tourism hub,” she added.
