The organisational structure of the Ajman Real Estate Regulatory Agency (Arra), has been approved by Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.

Arra is responsible of regulating real estate activities and joint ownership in Ajman and sets up policies and legislations to authorise real estate projects/investment buildings and oversees the implementation of these policies and other plans related to them as well as regulating joint ownership.

The approval came in Decree No 13/2012 in line with directives from His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Ajman to advance the performance of the emirate's governmental bodies.

Established in 2008, Arra is responsible for laying down general policies for developing real estate projects and constructing investment buildings as well as suggesting legislations that help to organise real estate business in the emirate of Ajman.

Arra's structure features three major departments for real estate procedures, real estate relations and development as well as for support services.

The board of directors is the supreme authority to achieve the agency's objectives and directly reports to the Ruler on the agency's work.

The jurisdictions and objectives of Arra also include the organisation of the legal relationship between property developers and those who buy varied real estate units available situated within these projects and other investment buildings and suggesting ways of settling disputes that may arise among them, the organisation of the legal relationship among those who buy real estate units in relation to preserving their ownerships and making use of public utilities intended for joint usage.
