SpiceJet flies to Dubai, offers Dh300 fare

SpiceJet, India's second-largest budget carrier by market share, is starting Dubai flights from Delhi and Mumabi from June 25 to capitalise on the large non-resident Indian population in the UAE.

This is the carrier’s third international route. It already flies to Kathmandu and Colombo.

Tickets for the Dubai flights will go on sale today, it said in a statement on Friday.

The airline however is offering introductory fare of Rs4,477 (Dh300) excluding government taxes for one-way travel. The budget carrier said on the two routes connecting Dubai with Delhi and Mumbai, would be a limited seat offer on its online bookings.

The airline will fly its new generation Boeing 737-800 on these Dubai route.
