TDIC invites contract works bids for 9 residential towers

Abu Dhabi-based Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) has invited bids for the main contract works of 9 multi-storey residential buildings on Saadiyat Island.

The company said buildings would be constructed on three plots with a total area of 61,000 m2.

The project includes construction of podium underground car parking, structural, architectural works, MEP, finishes testing/commissioning, external works, hard/soft landscaping and obtaining authority permits and approvals. The substructure works, piling etc. shall be awarded a separate contract.

The company has asked interested parties to submit their bids at residentialdev@tdic.ae before August 18, 2014.

TDIC said companies who have a minimum annual company turnover for construction activities within the UAE of Dh1 billion in each of the last three years.

Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) earlier this week announced that Ali Al Hammadi has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by its board members.
