Dubai Festival, Landmark Group sign deal

Dubai Festival City Mall and Landmark Group have signed a strategic deal that will see the leading retail and hospitality conglomerate launch a number of its major brands at key locations in one of Dubai’s most popular shopping, leisure and entertainment waterfront destinations.

“We are very pleased to have Landmark Group on board and look forward to hosting their flagship stores at Dubai Festival City Mall,” said Murray Bell, Managing Director, Retail, Al Futtaim Group Real Estate.

”As we have embarked on a game-changing transformational journey our plan is to further grow and streamline our retail mix in a changing market in order to complement the Mall’s appeal as a uniquely located shopping, leisure and entertainment destination that is attractive and appealing to residents living in the UAE as well as visitors who come to Dubai to enjoy the city’s vibrant lifestyle,” he added.

Landmark Group will anchor the Mall with over 100,000 square feet of retail space spread across two floors and add its own unique brands Centrepoint, Max and Emax to the malls current offering, with other brands being added in the future. The Group’s brands have strong loyalty amongst customer in the region and will add sizeable footfall to the new extension of Dubai Festival City Mall.

Centrepoint, is the Middle East’s one-stop-shop for families featuring brands such as Babyshop, Splash, Shoemart, and Lifestyle.  A home grown brand from the UAE, Centrepoint offers its customers the largest choice of value fashion brands and is truly a complete family shopping destination.

The Group has also confirmed that Max, the fastest growing value fashion brand in the region and Emax, leading electronics retail chain will be a part of this strategic agreement, strengthening the tenant mix of the newly expanded Mall.
