The 13th edition of Dubai Airshow will be held from November 17, 2013, to November 21, 2013, at the Dubai World Central, its organiser F&E Aerospace said in a statement to Emirates 24l7.

This will be the first airshow to be held at the newly-built Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central.

The previous biennial event in 2011 drew 960 exhibitors from 50 countries, up by eight per cent on 2009 and 56,548 visitors which also saw an increase of seven per cent.

Alison Weller, Managing Director of F&E Aerospace, said: “The Dubai Airshow has enjoyed exponential growth since its launch in 1989 and the last show in 2011 proved to be the best in our 22 year history. We are already planning our move to Dubai World Central in 2013 and look forward to growing the show at a venue that will be double the size of Airport Expo.”

The Dubai Airshow is organised under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and in co-operation with Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Dubai Airports and the UAE Armed Forces.
