“Hanover Messe is the world’s largest industrial exhibition. Our participation supports our country’s efforts, under the guidance of our wise leadership, to diversify our economy by focusing on non-oil sectors, especially the industrial sector, which is the key to the economic development and civilization of every country. It also supports our endeavors to add value to our national economy.

“We in the Ministry of Economy certainly intend to raise the state’s foreign trade profile and develop our commercial contacts with the world through participation in such specialized exhibitions. This participation provides our national establishments with the opportunity to network with international partners in the world of industry, industrial supplies, and modern technology. The Ministry of Economy seeks to support all the public and private national establishments to maximize their contribution out of its belief in the key role they play in supporting the national economy.”

The organizers of Hannover Messe will highlight the challenges faced across all areas of industry as they seek to cooperate across corporate and sector boundaries. By highlighting enhanced integration, Hannover Messe will illustrate the benefits of shorter communication channels to boost efficiency, safety and resource sustainability in production and logistics

"Machines, industrial equipment, work pieces and system components will soon be capable of exchanging data in real-time. This will significantly boost efficiency, safety and resource sustainability in production and logistics" said Dr. Jochen Köckler, a member of the Deutsche Messe Board of Management. "The experts have dubbed this technological development the fourth industrial revolution, coming, as it does, after the steam engine, mass production and automation."

Within this overall vision, the Government of the UAE designs and implements its strategies. The current UAE Government Strategy 2011-2013 strives to ensure that all Government work is conducted according to a set of guiding principles that puts citizens first and promotes an accountable, lean, innovative, and forward-looking Government.
