Tecom Investments’ Education Cluster today announced that SHL, the global leader in talent measurement solutions, has established its regional headquarters at Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV), the region’s premier destination for human resource management.

SHL delivers over 25 million scientifically proven talent selection and development assessments in more than 30 languages across 150 countries each year. These solutions help organisations simplify the process of finding the right person for the right job, thus saving significant time and money.

Reinforcing its global leadership, SHL’s operations in Dubai will seek to tap in to emerging growth opportunities within the area of talent assessment. Additionally, it will help the company focus on its customer priorities across the UAE and the Middle East.

Dr Ayoub Kazim, Managing Director, Tecom Investments’ Education Cluster, said: “We welcome SHL to Dubai Knowledge Village. Such professional organisations play an important role in enhancing the intellectual capital and capabilities of regional businesses to effectively meet new challenges. SHL aims to leverage our keen awareness of the region and the HR industry in Dubai to spotlight their expertise in talent management.”

Mohamed Farid, Managing Director, Middle East – SHL, said: “Most organisations recognise that people are their most important asset; companies in the Middle East are increasingly seeking objective insights into their people’s potential and ability to perform.  We have seen a growing demand for workforce-related intelligence and have made significant investment in our operations to deliver suitable solutions.

“Our move to Dubai Knowledge Village will allow easier access to SHL’s stakeholders in the UAE and across the wider region. We now have people on the ground to cultivate relationships and drive meaningful knowledge exchange.”
