Abu Dhabi-based UAE fuel retailer Adnoc Distribution plans to increase number of service stations operated by the company to 507 as part of the business plan for 2015-2016, a press statement said today.

The company also announced opening Al Mazraa service station on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road near exit number 119 in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Customs and Ports Department, Chairman of RAK Free Zone Authority, Chairman of RAK Investment Authority, inaugurated the Al Mazraa service station in the presence of Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, CEO of Adnoc Distribution.

The new service station includes five islands for fueling with one dedicated to the future usage of natural gas fuel. Al Mazraa also includes a separate lane for fueling heavy vehicles and a total of 10 fuel dispensers.  A mosque, Adnoc Oasis, bakery and fast food outlet are amongst the advanced facilities fitted out at the new station.

Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri said the fuel retailer can cope with the increasing demand for the company’s products and services following the rapid urbanisation and expansion of cities and suburbs across the UAE.
