Construction of phase one of Zagorodny Kvartal, Dubai-based Limitless’ joint venture community project near Moscow, is around 35 per cent complete, with four apartment buildings and 26 townhomes on track for completion this year.

Covering 14 hectares and due for completion in 2015, phase one of Zagorodny Kvartal includes 14 residential towers containing 728 apartments, 46 townhouses, retail facilities and an 8,000 square metre park.

Seven apartment buildings, all townhomes and infrastructure work are currently under construction, with 300 workers on site.  Landscaping is due to begin this year.

End users in Russia have purchased over 200 homes at Zagorodny Kvartal, which is being sold in phases with a UAE launch coming soon. Units on sale include studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, and three and four bedroom townhomes.

Located 24 kilometres northwest of Moscow, Zagorodny Kvartal – meaning Country Quarter – is being constructed alongside the Moscow Canal. With more than half of the master plan comprising communal, green, open space, the project will bring the great outdoors into the everyday lives of residents and visitors, providing quality urban-style accommodation in a countryside setting.

Spanning 111 hectares, Zagorodny Kvartal’s overall master plan features 5,500 apartments, nearly 470 villas and townhouses, school, kindergartens and a commercial centre.  The community will accommodate more than 14,000 people when fully complete.

Zagorodny Kvartal will be part of one of the most rapidly developing districts in the Moscow region. It is 4km from Sheremetyevo International Airport, 8km from the Moscow Ring Road and 10km from Kimki Business Park. Highway upgrades, currently underway, will provide quick, congestion-free routes to and from the Russian capital, and a new high-speed toll road will provide easy connections to St Petersburg.

Work is also soon to begin on another Limitless overseas project – Halong Star in Halong Bay, Vietnam – following the signing last month of a Memorandum of Understanding between Limitless and the Vietnamese government for the implementation of the mixed-use development.
