Omani firm signs contract at IndiaSoft 2017

The 17th edition of Indiasoft 2017 concluded on Tuesday with about 30 new products launched at the event. 

The two day flagship IT event of Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) had two panel discussions – IT opportunities in emerging markets and IT business opportunities in major export markets, informed Mr Kamal Vachani, Regional Director of ESC for the Middle East.

The Indiasoft 2017 was inaugurated by Mr Y.S. Chowdary, Minister of State for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India on 13th February, 2017 in Hyderabad.

Mr Kamal Vachani informed that a few partnerships have been signed during Indiasoft 2017 and one of them from Oman with Al Burooj International Group of Companies, which shows great opportunity for scouting the burgeoning entire Middle East market and the other neighboring regions.  ESC has been penetrating and constantly expanding their base in Dubai, UAE by sponsoring delegations to and from India, added Mr Vachani.

Indiasoft was the platform for many new product launches and on an average 30 new products were launched at the event.  Mr D.K. Sareen, Executive Director of ESC explained the importance being given to the embedded technologies in the Indiasoft.

Some of the products launched/showcased are ebizframe 10 by Eastern Software Systems, a new proactive ERP whose dashboard guides about daily activities, SISRB Technologies launched grptalk, which makes group calling simpler, Atlanta Systems launched personal trackers, bike trackers and Softland India unveiled wireless smart watch which is ideal for waiters, delivery boys, nurses for getting instant alert in a wireless way.  CSM Technologies Pvt Ltd. unveiled Howdi, a corporate messaging tool for all corporate intra-communications.  Finsys Infotech Ltd. showcased ERP Software on Phone.

Nearly 50 startups out of 250 Indian companies participated in the show.  About 800 delegates including 400 foreign delegates from 75 countries and 250 Indian exhibitors participated in the show, said Mr Vachani.
