Rixos Hotels moves headquarters to Dubai

Turkish hotel operator Rixos Hotels said it CEO Bugra Berberoglu has moved to Dubai also announced shifting its headquarters to the emirate.

Dubai, hosting the World Expo in 2020, is setting the bar in hotel and tourism industry with consistent growth in room inventory every year, and exciting new F&B propositions and concepts, it said.

The hotel said its aim is to position itself by both leveraging and integrating its key resources into Dubai, the epicentre of tourism and travel in the Middle East.

As of today, Rixos has 30 hotels under operation in 11 countries, with 22 hotels in the pipeline. Rixos said it aims to double its portfolio size in the next five years.

Target regions for expansion include North Africa, South East Asia, Eastern & Central Europe, and the Caribbean, among others.
