Demo of car that runs on water in Abu Dhabi

Pakistani engineer to showcase technology to Irena boss

An engineer will likely hold a demo of new ground-breaking technology where car runs on water as fuel to Irena officials in Abu Dhabi.

The demo will be given to Director-General of Abu Dhabi-headquarter International Renewable Energy Agency (Irena) Adnan Z. Amin in Abu Dhabi, Pakistan Press International (PPI) news agency said on Thursday.

Pakistani engineer Waqar Ahmed has been invited by Pakistani Ambassador to UAE Jamil Ahmed Khan in Abu Dhabi to give a demo to Irena’s director general. Sources said the ambassador is currently visiting Pakistan and will return to the UAE next week to reveal further details.

Earlier this week, Engineer Ahmed drove the vehicle on water in Pakistan as a demo in front of media, students, scientists and politicians.

Media reports have explained that the water fuelling system is a technology in which “hydrogen bonding” with distilled water produces hydrogen gas to run the car. The engineer claims that the car can run 40 kilometres in litre water.

PPI said Ambassador Khan has exchanged notes with Irena’s Amin and agreed joining hands in holding a demo to have a close look at the working of the “water fuel kit project.”

You can make hydrogen in your bathtub. This is no more spectacular than the couple hundred do it yourself videos on YouTube for the exact same thing. You need to pressurize the hydrogen to make it an effective fuel. They are twisting bare wires, garden hose, and using plastic bottles to make you believe this works. Look up the Mazda RX8 running on hydrogen, and compare the technology, you will know what I'm laughing at.

Now major oil producers al over the world must be worrying.

Do people seriously believe this? - Governments, major motor companies and petrol companies have spent billions (and continue to spend billions) of dollars developing Hydrogen Fuel Cell technology. Whilst the technology is progressing (slowly), I doubt very much that this contraption is real. Does anyone believe this Pakistani version of the Delorian actually works? Really?

Its great achievement in technology, energy, and also fuel consumption.

I don't think it's a true water running vehicle. There's some catch and I bet he's not telling us yet, I appriciate Mr. Agha Waqar's invention but there's something fishy which only time will tell.

Car and Motor cycles are already running on water in India and are being tested. This technology was presented in India in April 2012 by an engineer from IIT.

In this invention neither Energy is being CREATED nor DESTROYED; therefore It in no way violates the Law of conservation of energy. It is just transforming chemical energy of water into heat energy and then after burning in engine to Mechanical energy.

Well there have been many peole who had invented this before but due to political pressure, fake cases were made against them and their business was shut down. Oil producing countries will go down the road if this is commercialised.

Although it is very heartening to hear a Pakistani engineer has developed a kit that can run cars on water, Masha Allah, but it does not fit to the norm of the basic principle of energy conservation. The kit must used with several other cars before we can believe the claim.

Electric cars and hydro cars have already been invented. Political pressures shut down their wide-scale manufacturing possibilities.
