Trakhees EHS gets ISO certification

The Environment, Health and Safety Section, part of the Department of Planning and Development (Trakhees) – Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation – has been awarded the ISO 10002:2004 certification, by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) for implementation of its immediate and efficient customer service and feedback management system.

The certificate was presented by LRQA Area Manager for Middle East and Africa, Mr. Basem Obaid to Mr. Arif Al Dehail, CEO of Trakhees.

Al Dehail stressed that receiving the ISO 10002:2004 certification for the immediate and efficient customer feedback management system has been the result of the department’s firm commitment to improving the services provided to its customers, which constitutes a priority for all Trakhees sections.

He stated that customer satisfaction was an essential element of quality and excellence, and asserted the fact that Trakhees was keen on applying international best practices in facilitating customer service procedures.

EHS is in charge of all matters related to health, safety and the environment in Dubai’s development areas. Its competence encompasses various far-reaching fields including, real estate development projects, ports, industrial activities, free zones and other business activities.
