Saudi airport customs inspectors arrested a passenger who tried to smuggle 110 capsules of cocaine into the Gulf Kingdom by hiding them in his belly.

The inspectors at the airport in the Western Medinah town decided to subject the man to scanning after they suspected he was carrying illegal substance inside his body.

“Images showed that he had 110 capsules containing around 1.25kg of cocaine,” ‘Sabq’ daily said without identifying the passenger.

Convicted drug dealers are executed in most cases in Saudi Arabia, one of the most conservative Muslim nations.
