2 women with 1.4kg of cocaine in belly

Saudi airport customs inspectors arrested two women trying to smuggle nearly 1.4kg of cocaine in their stomachs as they arrived separately in the Gulf Kingdom.

The inspectors at the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah decided to search a woman after suspecting she was carrying illegal items, 'Sada' newspaper said.

Scanning showed she was hiding 68 capsules containing around 537gm of cocaine while another woman coming aboard a separate flight was found concealing 909gm of cocaine in her belly, the report said.
