Fight with cleavers at Saudi school

A Saudi school boy suffered from serious head injuries when he was hit by a cleaver during a fight at the school gate in the Gulf kingdom.

Sada newspaper said several students were involved in the fight at the school in the Western town of Makkah, adding that the scuffle was triggered by heated arguments about the final examinations.

“One student suffered from serious injuries after he was hit by a cleaver on the head, while another was slightly injured,” it said.

It said police contacted the school management to identify those involved in the scuffle and arrest them.
