Girl beaten to death by brothers in Saudi

A Saudi girl died after she was beaten and tortured by her two elder brothers who themselves took her to hospital, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Doctors examining the body found that she was beaten to death while the two brothers disappeared just after she was admitted, ‘Sada’ said.

Police in the Southern Najran province later arrested the two brothers after their sister reported that they had assaulted her sister and beaten her up.

The paper said police were questioning the two brothers to determine their motives for the assault.
