127 illegal residents nabbed from Satwa

In a surprise raid in Al Satwa area of Dubai, officials nabbed at least 127 Asian men residing illegally in the country.

The raid was part of the campaign by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai.

The department entrusted the search and investigations section after receiving reliable information, who laid the trap to nab them.

Major General Mohammed Al Marri, Director-General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, praised the ongoing campaign, carried out as per the directives of the Interior Ministry to check on illegal residents .

All arrested suspects were subjected to iris scanning.

Officials urge public to report details of illegal residents by calling on 80 05111.
