3 men buy 37 air tickets with others' cards

A policeman, guard and driver allegedly bought 37 air tickets through the Internet by using credit cards that belonged to other people, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

JAJ, 27, guard, and NSA, policeman, both Emiratis, and MRM, 23, Palestinian driver, are accused of stealing information of other people’s credit cards and using them to buying air tickets on line.

They are also accused of forging official documents to buy the 37 Emirates airline tickets of Dh99,530.

HK, 43, Indian, security officer at Emirates, testified that records of 2011 showed that some air tickets were bought from Egypt and France by using stolen credit cards of banks in Australia.

Police arrested the accused whose electronic devices including computers, Ipad and Iphone, mobile phones and BlackBerry that processed the transactions via the Internet.

The Court adjourned the case to June 27.
