In yet another case of crime against women, six European women were involved in luring three teenagers into the UAE with the intention of forcing them into prostitution.

The Criminal and Appellate Court of Dubai heard that the victims were trapped when the suspects promised them jobs with high salary, reports Al Khaleej newspaper.

One of the defendants, AD, was sentenced to three years in jail followed by deportation for trafficking two girls. Another woman, NS, was acquitted of the same charge.

One of the victims told the court that she knew the accused from home and she was promised a great job in Dubai. Once she arrived in Dubai, she was told that she would have to work as a prostitute. When she refused to follow the orders, the accused threatened to kill her and her passport was taken away from her.

However, the brave girl did not lose heart and she, along with another girl, fled the apartment, by slipping through a window in the dark.

They asked her to reach a hotel in the evening and once she reached there she was told to start working as a protitute.
