Abu Dhabi cops bust major vice den

Abu Dhabi police smashed a major vice ring after one of its members was stabbed because he decided to stop soliciting for customers.

Police rushed to a villa in the capital after receiving a call that a man was stabbed and severely beaten during a fight.

The man told police that he was attacked by other members of the ring after he told them he would stop soliciting for customers for women.

Police searching the villa found 12 men and nine women who were involved in obscene activities and are staying illegally in the UAE.

The arrested women told police that the villa owner was managing the vice ring in collaboration with another man for money.

Newspapers did not identify the defendants but said a court trying them would issue its sentence on April 29.
