Ajman ATM too tough for Asian gang to rob

A three-member Asian gang was arrested by Ajman Police for trying to rob an ATM.

The three suspects were rounded-up by the authorities within 48 hours of attempting to break open the ATM machine.

The gang members had come armed with gloves, dark glasses, welding torch and cylinder to break open the ATM machine physically in the dead of the night.

However, their mission remained unsuccessful due to the bank's tough security system.

The suspects escaped from the scene of the crime in a vehicle and abandoned the vehicle in a residential area of Ajman.  

The police officials received a call the next morning from a bank official and immediately set into action.

The CCTV footage gave them excellent leads and even gave them clues as to what kind of car the suspects had been driving.

They found the abandoned car with a missing number plate and after that tracing the suspects to their hiding place was carried out within hours.

The three Asians pleaded guilty and the case will be referred to the Public Prosecution.
