Amicable settlement of 126 labour cases at Dubai Courts

A total of 126 complaints filed by labourers of a Dubai-based company have been settled in an amicable way by the Dubai Courts' Department of Civil Cases.

The settlement has been reached in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation's Inspection Department at a meeting between the employer's representative and the complainants in the presence of legal experts from the ministry.

The resolution has been orchestrated by Hamad Abdullah, the Head of the Labour Cases Department, who attributed the successful arbitration to the fruitful collaboration between Dubai Courts,and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation for the greater good in line with the Dubai Courts' strategy to ensure workers' rights and to deliver expeditious settlement of labour complaints.
