Arab claims purse from cops (forgets hash in it)

A man from another Gulf Arab country made the mistake of his life when he went to a police station in Abu Dhabi to claim his lost purse, apparently forgetting about a little piece of hashish stuffed in it.

The man was sitting at his favorite café in the city when he noticed his purse was missing.

When he told the waiter about it, the worker said that he had handed it to the police after no one claimed it at the shop.

“He went to the police station, forgetting about that piece of drug he was using,” the Arabic language daily Al Khaleej said.

“At the station, police asked him to confirm the purse is his, so he did. Police then arrested him on charges of using drugs and driving under the influence of drugs.”
