Asian mobile phone thieves nabbed

Fujeirah police arrested six Asian men for stealing nearly 300 mobile handsets from a local phone shop worth around Dh200,000.

Three of them were found to be staying in the UAE illegally while one was arrested for helping them in smuggling the phones out of the country.

Police said the thieves confessed to stealing those mobile handsets and to carrying out burglaries in other UAE emirates.
