Two 20-year-old Sudanese students who assaulted a compatriot for having relationship with the sister of one of them, received three months jail term each.
AAW, and HYM, have beaten AMO, 17, student, at the parking lot of the Festival City and caused him three per cent permanent disability.
The victim testified while he was sitting with a girl in a restaurant at the Festival City on June 29 at around 12.30am when a man approached and asked him to accompany him.
The victim said: “He claimed that he is the girl’s uncle. Upon reaching the parking lot there were eight people including HYM who started beating me up. Then the man who approached him also beat me up and kicked me till I fainted. The security guard intervened and then my brother arrived and rushed me to the hospital. I came to know through the girl that HYM is her step brother,” he testified.
Forensic reported that the victim sustained scratches and bruises on different parts of his body. He also sustained a fraction in his skull with a permanent disability of three per cent.
