Cook kills maid after impregnating her

An Asian cook murdered a housemaid in Abu Dhabi by hitting her on the head with a rock and setting her room on fire after she told him she was pregnant from him.

The Asian maid had an affair with the cook at his room and had asked to see him at her employer’s house while the family was away. She then divulged her pregnancy to him.

“When she told him she was pregnant, he got mad and used a block to hit her on the head until she died,” the Arabic language daily Alkhaleej said.

“To cover his crime, he then set her room on fire, but after the civil defence put out the fire, police found the maid’s charred body.”

The paper said police arrested the cook after he revealed his crime to his workmate and sought help to flee the country. It said the workmate told his employer, who seized the cook and took him to the police centre.
