Drive for Dubai girl ends with uncle molesting her

A 34-year-old Pakistani driver, MSM, allegedly molested his 9-year old niece in his car, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

The victim SKM testified that on June 19, she asked her uncle to take her to the playground in Dubai Hospital, but instead he took her to a sandy area as she needed to go to the bathroom.

She got down from the car and when she walked back towards the car, she sat in the back seat.

“My uncle sat next to me and then removed my shirt and pulled down my trouser and started molesting me. That was not the first time he did that to me,” she testified.

The crime was seen by an Emirati employee, MAR, 31, who was standing next to his car at around 9.30pm when he saw a white Nissan Sunny car stop between trucks.

He drove towards the car. When he was close to it, he stopped the car and got out of it to find out what was going on.

“I came closer and pointed my mobile’s light to the glass and saw a man molesting a little girl.

"I knocked on the door several times until he opened it. Confronting him with what I had seen him doing, the man confessed to molesting the little girl and asked me not to report to the police,” MAR testified.

Criminal Evidences reported body fluids on the clothes of the accused.

The court will give its verdict on September 23.
