Driver gropes 8-year old schoolgirl in car

A Pakistani driver allegedly groped an eight-year-old girl while he was transporting her and her sister and asked her if she is pleased by what he did, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

The accused DH, 23, who holds a businessman’s visa, and the girls’ father had agreed to pick the girls from their school and drive them to the hospital where their mother worked.

On May 1, at around 4pm, DH drove to the girls’ school and picked them up. One of the girls sat on the front seat and the other on the back seat.

DH exploited the innocence of the little girl and after about five minutes he dropped the girls at the hospital. The accused repeated this several times before the little girl told her mother.

“On May 3, my younger daughter told me that the driver used to give her elder sister his mobile phone and some sweets. He made the elder daughter sit on the back seat and the younger one on the front seat. When the girl in the back got busy with the things he gave her, he used to grope her,” he mother told investigators.

The little girl, who used to feel pain while the accused was groping her, had rebuked him. But since he did not stop doing it, she told her mother.

The court will reconvene on September 14.
