Driver rapes villa cleaner while family is out

The Dubai Criminal Court has adjourned the case involving a 31-year-old Asia identified as Abdul Noor F who is accused of raping a 32-year-old Filipino woman cleaner identified as AMB.

The cleaner had lodged a complaint with the police on July 5 that she had been raped.

On the day of the incident, she said she was cleaning the bedroom on the second floor of a villa in Dubai’s Al Sohool area.

She said the watchman of the villa entered the room, taking advantage of the absence of the family, forced her to undress and had sexual intercourse with her for about ten minutes.

The case’s file included testimony of the policeman who had arrested the accused. The testimony confirmed the victim’s statements except that the accused is the family’s driver and not the villa’s watchman.

The case file included a forensic report which confirmed the presence of the accused’s sperm on the bedsheet.

The public prosecution referred the case to the court which adjourned it to April 27 to give its verdict.
