Dubai Police confiscated heroin and Tramadol tablet from a car whose driver died in a road accident but two passengers survived.

Police were rushed to investigate a road accident in the industrial area. “We searched the car when we found out that the two passengers were in abnormal condition. Underneath the driver’s seat we found a sack that contained 1.6grammes of heroin and about 450 different types of drug tablets including Benzhexol and Tramadol.

“Passengers of the car denied possessing drug tablets and claimed that they belonged to the deceased driver,” a police officer told investigators.

However, urine tests of SA 24, Yemeni and MS, 35, Emirati proved positive to heroin and Tramadol. In addition to taking drugs, the two were accused of facilitating the supply of drugs to the deceased SJ.

The Court will reconvene on April 30.
