European drug dealer jailed 5 years in Abu Dhabi

An Abu Dhabi court sentenced a European man to five years in prison and ordered his deportation from the UAE after he was convicted of dealing in drugs he had brought into the UAE by a local courier, press reports said on Wednesday.

The unnamed defendant confessed during hearings that he had imported Synthetic cannabis, better known as Spice, through courier from abroad and that he had also taken other drugs while staying in the UAE.
