Gadget, appliances thieves held in Sharjah

This is a gang of thieves with a difference.

They break into homes, but do not take cash or valuables instead they carry away huge electronic gadgets such as refrigerators, air-conditioners, computers, etc.

Sharjah Police nabbed five burglars following a series of complaints they received from residents of the emirate.

In the latest incident, the five Bangladeshis broke into a home in Al Khan area.

The Criminal Investigations Department set about its task and caught one person, MMM.

He confessed to the crime and led cops to his four accomplices.

The five men then divulged details of all their thefts.

They had been accumulating their loot at another house, which has now been confiscated.

The gang has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
