Play stops for 17 gamblers in Sharjah

Sharjah Police arrested 17 people on the charge of gambling and betting in public places in various areas of the emirate.

Nine of those caught were Pakistanis and eight Bangladeshis.

Police said gambling is also being done indoors in some places.
