A jobless Pakistani allegedly forced his way into a house and used a gun to threaten the resident and rob some of her belongings, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
ZRZ, 25, is also accused of violating other people’s property.
Two other Pakistanis -- MSM, 30, electrician and MAA, 42, businessman -- are accused of possessing stolen items.
CG, 35, Pakistani, testified that after her brothers had left her house, she moved to closed the door behind them. “All of a sudden, a man pushed the door and entered the house. He wore a mask and the UAE national dress. He threatened me with a small gun and asked me to sit quietly in the hall. He went to the bed room and took the laptop, three mobile phones and a purse containing Dh500 and ran away. Then I called the police,” she testified.
Police arrested the suspect who confessed to the crime.
The court will reconvene on July 1.
