Killer of Indian arrested in Dhaid

Sharjah police arrested an Asian man hours after he murdered an Indian in Dhaid by beating him with a sharp object, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Police had mounted a manhunt for the killer after they found the victim dead on a couch at a watchman’s room in a company in Dhaid, Al Khaleej said.

Medical examination showed the Indian had been hit on the head several times as he bled to death in the absence of any one at that time.

The paper did not identify the killer but quoted police as saying he confessed to murdering the Indian man.
