Life guard accused of molesting teen boy

A Sri Lankan swimming rescue staff allegedly molested a  14-year-old boy when the latter was in the building’s swimming area.

MS, 23, was caught with the victim naked in a changing room inside the women’s toilet by MS, 27, Pakistani guard superviser.

“I was making a regular inspection of security officers in Jumeira Village buildings. When I did not see the rescue staff at the swimming pool, I started searching for him. Looking around, I did not see him.

“Then I searched for him in the women’s toilet after knocking at the door and did not get any reply. The toilets were all open and empty except for the changing room which was locked from inside. I knocked at the door and did not get any reply. When I was stepping out of the toilet, I heard a sound from the changing room.

“I knocked at the door again and opened the door to see the rescue staff standing completely naked with a little boy was wearing his shorts. The boy ran out of the room and the accused followed him and entered the toilet. When he got out of the toilet, he did not tell me what he was doing with the boy and looked very confused,” testified the guard superviser.

The boy rushed to his father and told him that the rescue staff of the swimming pool had asked him to go with him to see sports machines in the women’s changing room.

“My son agreed and went with him and when they entered the room, the accused locked the door and tried to remove his dress. When he refused, he took off his dress and started masturbating,” the father RM, 47, Indian driver told the police.

However, the accused told the police a different story. He claimed that the boy had approached him in the changing room and asked how to do masturbate and tried that in front of him. When he was not able to do it, the boy asked him for porno films which he did not give.

“Two days later, I met the boy in the building accidently and he told me that he could not masturbate. I asked him to come with me to the women’s toilet to practice it and he agreed. We both took off our shorts and the boy tried masturbating on my body but he did not ejaculate. I did the same with him and I ejaculated in a plastic cup that was in the room. When I finished, the security guard opened the door,” he testified.


The Court will reconvene next month.
