A 30-year-old jobless Emirati allegedly threatened to kill his cousin’s wife and her husband if the latter did not drop a lawsuit filed against him, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
Head Prosecutor Mohammed Ali asked the Court to award a stiff penalty against the accused.
AKS, 32, Emirati housewife, testified that on September 18, she received a phone call from the accused who threatened to kill her and her husband if the latter did not drop a legal case against him.
The accused admitted to calling his cousin’s wife and asking her to withdraw the case filed against him by her husband or “he will show them something.”
The Court will reconvene on February 3.
