Maid falls to death from Khorfakkan building

An Asian housemaid died after falling down from the fifth floor in a building in Khorfakkan, a newspaper reported on Monday.

Al Khaleej quoted police as saying the maid was rushed to hospital but died on the way after she fell down and hit the ground near the residential building.

Police are investigating the incident to determine if criminal act is involved.
