An Asian salesman allegedly assaulted a 10-year- old girl in a shop, Dubai Criminal Court heard on Tuesday.
The girl went to the toy section of the shop after seeking permission from her mom who waited for her outside.
That’s when the suspect followed her and touched her inappropriately.
The little girl moved from there and went to another rack and the 40-year-old Indian suspect followed the child and continued groping her, the court heard.
The frightened child ran out and informed her mother, who immediately rang up the girl’s dad.
The cops arrested the suspect, who admitted to committing the crime but blamed it on the devil.
The court will reconvene on April 28.
