Man steals Dh1,500 from friend

A man was caught on camera stealing Dh1,500 from his friend’s car while he was exercising in a gym in Ras Al Khaimah, the press reported on Thursday.

Police arrested the thief after his friend reported that he stole his car key from his bag while he was exercising and took Dh1,500 from his car parked outside the building.

The defendant at first denied the charge but confessed to the crime when police showed him a film caught by security cameras fixed outside the gym, the papers said without identifying both friends.
